Luxury Living Manchester Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Luxury Living Manchester, you’ll notice it doesn’t scream “look at me” from the street — and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This three-star property sits quietly on Crumpsall Lane, but don’t let the understated exterior fool you. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about what travelers need, rather than just cramming in as many rooms as possible. The lobby feels warm without being overly fancy, which sets the tone for the whole experience.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I really appreciated about the location — you’re in a proper Manchester neighborhood, not some tourist bubble. Crumpsall might not be a name you recognize, but it’s actually brilliant for couples (which explains why so many pairs end up rating this place highly). You’ve got authentic local pubs within walking distance, and the tram connections into the city center are surprisingly good. I mean, you can be in the Northern Quarter in about 20 minutes, but when you come back at night, you’re in this quieter residential area where you can actually get some sleep.

The Rooms

The rooms at Upscale Living Manchester are what I’d call “thoughtfully practical.” You know how some hotels either go completely minimal or stuff everything with unnecessary pillows? This place strikes that sweet spot in between. The beds are genuinely comfortable — not just hotel-marketing comfortable — and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase properly. What caught my attention was the attention to lighting; they’ve got proper reading lights and decent natural light during the day, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong.

The Details That Matter

It’s the small things that make Upscale Living Manchester work so well for couples, I think. The rooms have this cozy feel without being cramped, and the staff seem to understand that sometimes you just want to be left alone to enjoy your stay. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (tested it myself), and the shower pressure is solid — again, basic stuff that matters when you’re trying to start your day right. There’s also this nice quiet atmosphere in the evenings that makes it easy to wind down after exploring Manchester.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel like a local secret while still being professional and well-run. Recent guests consistently mention the location in their reviews, and after staying there, I get why. You’re close enough to everything that matters in Manchester, but far enough from the weekend chaos that you can actually relax. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having your own little corner of the city to retreat to. It’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Manchester — it’s just trying to be really good at what it does, and that approach clearly works.

Manchester hotels keep guests close to craft breweries, street art alleys, and indie vinyl shops.

Communication was easy with the host. We met outside the apartment and I received the keys to the property without any hassle. The apartment had everything that I needed. It was clean, comfortable, warm and had lots of different household appliances and utensils. It was nice to have a bit of space and I was able to work quite comfortably in preparation for work. The location was convenient for getting into Manchester City Centre, via Metrolink too.
