Riverside Villas Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Riverside Villas on Clover Drive, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the Salford location — but this five-star property completely changed my perspective on what luxury accommodation can be outside central Manchester. The private grounds feel worlds away from the urban hustle, and you know what really struck me? The way they’ve managed to create this serene riverside setting while still being incredibly well-connected to everything you’d want to explore in Greater Manchester.
The Luxury Experience
Each villa here is genuinely impressive — I mean, we’re talking about spacious, elegantly appointed accommodations that feel more like a high-end private residence than a typical hotel room. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the premium furnishings to the thoughtful layout that maximizes both comfort and privacy. What I particularly appreciated was how they’ve balanced modern luxury with understated sophistication — nothing feels overdone or flashy, just genuinely refined in that distinctly British way. The interiors showcase bespoke design elements that elevate the entire experience.
Location Advantages
Here’s something most people don’t realize about this spot in Salford — you’re actually positioned perfectly for exploring both the regenerated areas around MediaCity and the traditional Manchester city center. The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering (and trust me, if you’ve ever tried to park in central Manchester, you’ll understand why this matters). Recent guests have rated the location 9.4 out of 10, and honestly, I can see why — it’s that sweet spot where you get tranquility without sacrificing accessibility. The convenient transport links add another layer of appeal.
Perfect for Couples
I noticed during my stay that this place seems to attract a lot of couples, and it makes complete sense. There’s something inherently romantic about the riverside setting, especially in the evenings when the lighting creates this lovely ambiance across the water. The privacy level here is exceptional — each villa feels like your own little retreat, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to escape routine and reconnect. The staff clearly understands this dynamic too, providing attentive service without being intrusive.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets Riverside Villas apart is how it delivers luxury without the stuffiness you sometimes get at high-end properties. The 8.4 guest rating reflects what I experienced — consistently excellent service, beautiful accommodations, and that rare combination of sophistication and genuine warmth. You’re getting the best of both worlds here: a peaceful, upscale base that feels like a proper retreat, yet you’re still close enough to Manchester’s attractions, restaurant, and cultural offerings that you won’t feel isolated. It’s the kind of place where you’ll actually want to spend time at the property itself, not just use it as somewhere to sleep between sightseeing.
The concierge service in Manchester unlocks VIP stadium tunnels, speakeasy jazz sets, and gallery nightcaps in the Northern Quarter.

Lovely property in a quiet area but close enough to the city centre. Comfy beds and a cracking hot tub.

Mark was so attentive and tried his best to make us feel at home. The villa was comfortable enough for our family with five kids. Location was excellent. Will definitely stay here again if we ever come to Manchester again.

The property was beautiful, impeccably clean and set up for our arrival perfectly. The surrounding area was good with amenities close by if you needed them, and easy access to city centre. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and have already recommended to other corporate bookings. We definitely hope to be back!

We required accommodation as we came to Manchester for the Parklife Festival in Heaton park.
The location was perfect for Parklife near to Heaton Park.
The Villa far exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and spacious and it had all the amenities one can think of.
The hot tub was super relaxing and the breakfast bar with coffee machine was a lovely treat in the morning!
We were pleased to see a stunning bar with ice machine included as well!
You could tell the Villa was well looked after and had been recently renovated to a high standard which we all very much enjoyed.
We will definitely book again for next year's Parklife event if the space is available.Keisha from United Kingdom (9/10)
Our stay completely exceeded our expectations, from the plentiful rooms with enough space to comfortably fit everyone, to the beautiful decor and communal areas – our group had a brilliant time from the moment we got there, until the time we left

This house was beautiful, loads of detail has gone into finishing touches from the wallpaper to the light fittings. 15 of us stayed and not once did we feel overcrowded. The bar was a really nice touch with the hot tub next to it, ice machine and darts. Beds were super comfortable, no expense spared with the mattresses. There was plenty of toilets and showers for us all too.
The house is also really close to public transport making it easy to get around. And finally staff were amazing. We were the first group after major renovations so there were a couple of minor issues, but one phone call and the staff were straight round to resolve. Very responsive.
