Roomzzz Manchester City Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Roomzzz Manchester City on Princess Street, you immediately get that “this is exactly where I want to be” feeling. The building sits right in the thick of Manchester’s city center — I mean, you’re literally surrounded by everything that makes this city tick. It’s one of those four-star properties that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies, but instead focuses on getting the fundamentals absolutely right.
Location That Actually Matters
Honestly, the location here is pretty much perfect if you want to experience Manchester properly. You’re a two-minute walk from the Northern Quarter’s independent shops and cafes, and about the same distance to the main shopping areas around Market Street. The Arndale Centre is right there when you need it, but you’re also close enough to places like Afflecks Palace that locals actually care about. What I really appreciate is that you can walk to most of the good restaurants and bars without needing taxis — though there’s decent parking nearby if you’re driving in.
The Apartment Experience
The room setup here is what sets Roomzzz apart from typical hotels. Each apartment comes with a proper kitchenette that’s actually functional — not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation. You’ve got a decent-sized hob, microwave, and enough counter space to prepare real meals if you want to save money or just fancy cooking. The beds are genuinely comfortable too, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The windows actually open properly, which makes such a difference when you want fresh air.
Daily Life Here
What works well about staying here is how quickly it feels normal. The staff are helpful without being overly chatty, and the whole place has this relaxed vibe that makes you feel like a temporary local rather than a tourist. The WiFi is solid throughout, and there are enough power outlets that you’re not constantly unplugging things to charge your phone. You can grab groceries from the nearby Tesco Metro and cook breakfast in your own kitchen, then step outside and be immediately in the mix of Manchester’s energy. The modern amenities and thoughtful design make every day comfortable and convenient.
Why Guests Love It
The combination of location and space really makes this place work. Couples seem to particularly love it here — probably because you get that independence of having your own place while still being in the heart of everything. It’s that sweet spot where you feel connected to the city but still have a proper retreat to come back to at the end of the day. The spa facilities and modern amenities add to the overall appeal, making this a standout choice for discerning travelers who appreciate both comfort and authenticity in their Manchester experience.
To book a hotel in Manchester during festival weekends, visitors plan ahead to balance warehouse concerts with gallery crawls.

All the staff we met were friendly and helpful.
Comfortable bed and very well equipped room and kitchenette. Nice toiletries in the bathroom.
The free hot drinks machine was available all day – nice in the cold weather to be able to grab a hot chocolate when you get back from a day's exploring. The croissants laid on at breakfast time were very tasty.Adrian from United Kingdom (9/10)
