  The accommodation was excellent as well as the staff and food. We can not rate this place highly enough . The service was exceptional. All the staff were friendly and accommodating on every level.
  The food was so amazing we ate there the whole 3 days we were there. The attention to detail was second to none. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family and would love to go back.

  Breakfast snd dinner were excellent: very tasty, good choice and reasonably priced. One of the main reasons for choosing the Lamb Inn was to be in the middle of outstanding countryside and walking.It did not disappoint and, for example, it is possible to walk to Kinder Scout directly from the front door. Finally, the owner was delightful.

  From start to finish we had a fantastic stay. We only stayed 2 nights, but we were very happy with everything. We stayed in room 2, which was roomy, comfortable, and pleasant. We had our evening meal both nights we were there as the food on the first night was exceptional we had to go back for more. All staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the lady who looked after us at breakfast (she was friendly and very attentive). Excellent produce was served for both the continental and cooked breakfast, which were both available (not one or the other) and were very substantial. Very close to nearby walks (Mount Famine, etc), and nearby towns (Buxton, Glossop, Hayfield, etc) are not far away. We would certainly recommend the Lamb Inn to anyone looking to stay.

  The bar and restaurant areas are really cosy. A delight
  The food on the other hand was simply out of this world. I had the pork belly to start, my wife had the king prawn and chorizo. lamb Henry and lamb chops for mains. All was divine.

  Superb room – beautifully decorated with everything I needed. Very comfy bed, excellent shower and lovely little chocolates and sweets. Spacious and clean. Also the food in the Lamb Inn was absolutely delicious.

  The pub was very welcoming, and the room was lovely and cosy. We booked a meal in the restaurant and everything was delicious. The breakfast the next day was too.
